The application scope of acrylic display stands is extremely broad. During production, acrylic products require bonding. When using adhesive to bond acrylic display stands or e-cigarette display stands, certain precautions must not be overlooked—neglecting them could lead to lifelong regret. Please read the following carefully.
Safety Precautions for Acrylic Adhesive Bonding:
First: Sharpen the syringe tip to prevent accidental injury.
Second: Avoid others when drawing adhesive into the syringe. After filling, secure the needle and use a cloth shield to prevent splatter.
Third: Bend the syringe needle to a comfortable working angle.
Fourth: Ensure the work area is well-ventilated at all times. The strongest drawback of acrylic adhesive is its strong chemical odor.
Acrylic Adhesive Safety First Aid Knowledge:
Acrylic adhesives are classified into three levels: high corrosion, medium corrosion, and low corrosion. However, all levels pose risks. Acrylic adhesive causes mild skin burning. Prolonged contact (over 10 minutes) may whiten skin, while extended exposure can lead to numbness, pain, or red spots from skin burns. If adhesive accidentally sprays onto skin, immediately rinse with clean water. Then soak the affected area in medical alcohol. Alternatively, gently wipe the area with cotton, a towel, or cloth saturated in alcohol to prevent skin whitening.
If accidentally splashed into the eyes, flush immediately with copious amounts of water. The fastest and most effective method is to puncture a small hole and flush the eye with 5-8 bottles of distilled or purified water. Then apply erythromycin eye ointment and seek medical attention immediately. Remember: Always rinse the eyes with water first before seeking medical attention. The eyes are extremely vulnerable; untreated exposure for just three minutes can cause blindness. Acrylic adhesive is a chemical substance, and prolonged exposure to such chemicals can damage the eyes and lead to blindness. Please remember this.
Acrylic adhesive is an indispensable yet highly hazardous process in acrylic production. We urge you to remember the above precautions—do not wait until it's too late to regret it.
