Display stands of various kinds are ubiquitous in our daily lives, with different products requiring stands made from different materials. Observing these displays, one notices that virtually all clients, seeking to better promote their products and brands, often incorporate an advertising graphic into the customised stand to enhance promotional impact. However, for seasonal or short-term displays, replacing the graphic becomes a case of “pulling one hair and the whole body moves” – necessitating the replacement of the entire stand.

Rubber magnets, also known as bonded ferrite magnets, are manufactured by extruding, calendering, or injection moulding a composite of bonded ferrite powder, rubber or plastic, and other materials. Owing to the high plasticity of the material, both finished and semi-finished products can be freely cut, drilled, slit, or laminated with other materials. They resist demagnetisation, offer excellent corrosion resistance, and their surfaces can be coated with PVC film, coated paper, double-sided adhesive tape, UV varnish, or colour-printed and die-cut into various shapes. They are primarily categorised into two types: same-pole rubber magnets and opposite-pole rubber magnets. Their distinctions are as follows:
1. Magnetic properties: Isotropic rubber magnets exhibit weaker magnetism, whereas anisotropic rubber magnets possess higher magnetic functionality.
2. Operating temperature range and density: Isotropic rubber magnets exhibit lower density and operating temperature thresholds than anisotropic rubber magnets.
3. Application domains: Isotropic rubber magnets are primarily used in refrigerator magnets, automotive decals, printed materials, and promotional items. Anisotropic rubber magnets find extensive application in micro-motors, computers, laser printers, photocopiers, magnetic toys, and similar fields.
In display applications, rubber magnets are predominantly used with metal display stands, securing promotional graphics to the metal surfaces.
This approach offers significant cost savings for clients. When updating graphics, only the artwork requires replacement, allowing the display stand to be reused repeatedly. This streamlined process saves time and effort, enabling swift updates to reflect product promotions and enhancing overall marketing effectiveness.
